Injectables

Injectable fillers have added new dimensions to the field of cosmetic surgery.  Injectables allow all new options for facial rejuvenation and wrinkle treatments without surgery. Injectable skin and wrinkle fillers are used to reduce wrinkles, increase tissue volume, and improve your skin’s overall contour and condition. We offer several options in our office for fillers:

  1. Botox- Botox will temporarily eliminate or diminish wrinkles and lines on your face. Botox has become a very popular wrinkle treatment among patients who have moderate signs of again and want to repair those lines and wrinkles. The way Botox works is by relaxing the facial muscles that contract causing lines and wrinkles to form. Getting Botox is usually quick, taking only 10-15 minutes in most cases. If you get Botox you can expect the results to last anywhere from 3-6 months, so this is not a permanent fix. The best areas for treatment with Botox are the forehead and in between your eyes.
  2. Juvaderm- Juvaderm is an injectable gel that will bolster skin elasticity, and smooth out wrinkles and crevices. The appearance of wrinkles and facial folds can be smoothed by adding structure and volume underneath and bringing sunken skin back to the surface. Juvaderm improves your appearance by lifting and adding volume to folds, creases, and wrinkles. Juvaderm has a gel consistency which gives a more natural looking, smooth result once injected. Juvaderm can last 6-9 months. You can use Juvaderm in several treatment areas. You can use it to plump the crevices that form in your nasolabial folds, vertical lip lines, and oral commisures.
  3. Radiesse- Radiesse is a filler that reduces the appearance of wrinkles and skin folds around the mouth and nose. This injectable gel can add structure and volume underneath skin that is sinking to bring it back to the surface giving it a more youthful appearance. Fillers add volume to lines and crevices that form over time. This form of treatment can last up to two years and results are fully evident within one week. Radiesse is one of our most popular fillers due to the outstanding results it provides and the length of time it can last.
  4. Silikon- Silikon provides a natural looking permanent option for lip enhancement. Most patients will require 3 separate treatments to achieve the fullness they want but this will vary patient to patient depending on your desired outcome.
